| Rooftop & Behind-the-Scenes at The Elms Tour |
See and hear how the other half lived as you tour the "backstairs" of The Elms. Explore the operations of a grand house in the Gilded Age, looking behind the scenes at how it all worked. Walk through the kitchens, coal cellar and boiler room, laundry rooms and wine cellar, then up the stairs to the third-floor staff quarters. Weather permitting, your tour will take you out onto the roof, for a spectacular view of the ten-acre estate and Newport harbor beyond.

This tour offered is offered hourly each day during The Elms regular operating schedule.
While tickets are not date or time specific, space on each hourly tour is limited, and we strongly recommend that you call in advance to make a reservation for the specific date and time that your group would like to take this tour. Space availability on a specific tour cannot be guaranteed without an advance reservation. Please call (401) 847-0478 to request the day and time you prefer.
This tour is not handicapped accessible.
All tickets are non-refundable.
